- You will present the dog(s) for any services offered by Wags "n"
Walkies in a clean and groomed condition.
- The Client is solely responsible for any and all harm or damage
caused by their dog while it is under the care of Wags "n" Walkies and
agrees to indemnify Wags "n" Walkies in full against any liability
arising from such harm or damage to third parties.
- Wags "n" Walkies shall not be liable for the injury, loss, death, or
any legal actions whether civil or criminal, any fines or legal
penalties that may be imposed on pets or their responsible guardian,
who gain unsupervised access to the outdoors, or within any other
enclosed spaces. This may include incidents of pets escaping from
their designated or restrained areas or unexpected bolting.
- Wags "n" Walkies will only let dogs off the lead once written consent
has been signed and will remain at the discretion of Wags "n" Walkies.
- The Client agrees that if you give consent for Wags "n" Walkies to
exercise your dog(s) off the lead you accept full liability for any
loss or damage caused as a result of your dog being off lead. In the
event that your dog attacks a person or a dog or in the event that the
dog is involved in a fight with another dog or person, causing damage
or injury, you agree to be responsible for any losses incurred
including payment of veterinary fees or any medical treatment
required.
- The Client agrees that, in admitting their dog, Wags "n" Walkies has
relied on the Client's representation that their dog is in good health
and has not harmed or shown aggression or threatening behaviour toward
any person or any other dog.
- All dogs will be subject to an initial assessment by Wags "n" Walkies
prior to using Wags "n" Walkies. This is 4 walks for dog walking
before being offered a permanent slot, a day trial for day care or an
overnight trial for boarders. Wags "n" Walkies reserves the right to
refuse admission to any dog deemed in their absolute discretion to be,
or have the potential to be, dangerous or disruptive.
- The service Provider is unable to accept bookings for any dog subject
to the terms of the dangerous Dogs Act 1991.
- The Client agrees to notify Wags "n" Walkies immediately of any ill
health, unwelcome, aggressive, procreative, or dangerous behaviour of
their dog that has potential to cause harm to any other animal or
individual.
- Wags "n" Walkies offer services where dogs co-mingle in groups and
the Client accepts that during the course of normal dog play their dog
may sustain injuries. All dog play is carefully monitored to avoid
injury, but scratches, punctures, torn ligaments, or other injuries
may occur despite the best supervision.
- The Client is responsible for the full cost of treatment of any
injuries or illness that their dog receives while under the care of
Wags "n" Walkies, together with any associated costs e.g. call-out
charges. The Client authorises Wags "n" Walkies to seek such
veterinary advice and/or treatment as they deem necessary; where
possible this will be carried out by the Client's usual/preferred Vet,
but this cannot be guaranteed (e.g. in an emergency) and the Client
accepts that Wags "n" Walkies may at their discretion use any
registered Vet. The Client agrees to pay all such costs immediately
upon pick-up of their dog, or by agreement with the proprietor.
- Wags "n" Walkies reserves the right to refuse admission if the Client
fails to provide adequate proof of vaccinations (including Kennel
Cough (Bordetella)), or the vaccinations are found to be expired or
otherwise incomplete. All vaccinations or course of vaccinations
should be completed at least 2 weeks prior to any boarding dates.
- Dogs who have fleas may not attend Wags "n" Walkies until proof of
flea treatment has been received in the form of a receipt and the dog
is free from fleas. If dogs are found to have fleas they will be
returned immediately and the cost of flea bombing the vehicle will be
chargeable to the client.
- Bitches may not attend Wags "n" Walkies while in season or pregnant
and must wait a minimum of two weeks after their last bleed until they
can rejoin groups. Wags "n" Walkies reserves the right to refuse
admission if these criteria are not met.
- The Client agrees to take any necessary measures or precautions to
ensure that their dog is continuously free of contagious, infectious,
or otherwise communicable diseases. This includes regular treatment
for fleas/ticks/ parasites and worming and this is the fully the
clients' responsibility. The Client further agrees to notify Wags "n"
Walkies immediately of any infectious and/or contagious disease or
conditions their dog has been exposed to or is affected by. Such
diseases and conditions include, but are not limited to: Distemper,
Hepatitis, Kennel Cough (Bordetella), Parvovirus, Corona virus, worms,
Lyme disease, Fleas, Pregnancy, Infectious Skin Diseases, and
Intestinal Parasites. Wags "n" Walkies reserves the right to refuse
admission until satisfied that the condition is resolved.
- The Client accepts that even though their dog is vaccinated against
Bordetella (Kennel Cough) there is a chance that their dog can still
contract Kennel Cough. The Client agrees that they will not hold Wags
"n" Walkies responsible if their dog contracts Kennel Cough while
attending.
- The Client agrees that Wags "n" Walkies is not responsible for any
lost, stolen, or damaged leads, collars, tags, clothing or any other
item left with their dog.
- No variation of these Terms and Conditions will have effect unless
confirmed by Wags "n" Walkies in writing.
- The client authorises the signed booking form, consent form,
veterinary release form and terms and conditions to be valid for
future services, allowing Wags "n" Walkies to accept future bookings
without additional signed contracts or authorisation. It is the
responsibility of the client to inform Wags "n" Walkies of any
significant changes in the required care of their dog(s).
- At Wags "n" Walkies under the terms of our License with Maidstone
Council, we are required to take and maintain information on our
clients and their dogs. These include name, address, email, telephone
numbers of the owner and of an emergency contact as instructed by you,
also details of the dogs and any medical conditions along with
vaccination expiry dates and details of your vet. This data is
provided by yourselves by completion of the booking and consent form.
We do not process this information in any way other than to print out
feeding records for your dog during their stay and an invoice for
payment of the dogs stay. We do not use the data for any other
purposes other than if we need to contact yourselves or your emergency
contact during your dog's stay, in case of any emergency, or your
vets. We do not share your information with anyone. However, we are
inspected annually by Maidstone Council and they have the right to see
completed boarding records to confirm that we are complying with the
terms of our License. We do not hold any credit or debit card data on
site; with processing being undertaken by our providers secure
servers.
Dog Walking
- The Client agrees to ensure their dog has not eaten in the hour
before pick up by Wags "n" Walkies to ensure sufficient time to digest
food before any exercise or play. Failure to do so may result in the
potentially life threatening condition Bloat (Gastric Torsion).
- The Client agrees to provide keys/ arrange access to the dog for the
agreed appointment; failure to do so will result in a cancellation for
that day's service and will be paid in full by the client.
- The client agrees to provide Wags "n" Walkies with a minimum of 48
hours notice to cancel an appointment and failure to provide such
notice will result in payment in full.
- The Client agrees that, by signing the key holder waiver this will
indemnify Wags "n" Walkies in full against any liability arising from
loss or damage to the property or its contents, in present and future
circumstances.
Daycare and Boarding
- The client will need to supply all necessary dog food and treats for
the duration of the stay. If additional food or treats are required
then the client agrees to refund Wags "n" Walkies on presentation of a
valid receipt.
- All dates and times are looked upon as appointments and must be
adhered to. If the Client arrives early, they must wait until the
agreed time to ring the doorbell. If the Client is running more than
15 minutes late, the Service Provider takes no responsibility for
being available to receive/handover the Clients dog(s). If the Client
is unavoidably delayed by more than 15 minutes, they must contact Wags
"n" Walkies to arrange another suitable time to collect/handover. This
is subject to additional fees if extending the length of stay by
another calendar day.
- For boarding, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required after a
successful overnight trial to secure the booking. The balance is due
before the dog(s) are dropped for their stay.
- Bookings are only confirmed once deposit and signed forms are
received. Bookings will not be kept open for more than 7 days and will
be released.
- Daycare payments can be paid by bank transfer up to the day before
service is required.
